Over 25 years in clinical and administrative roles in home health, hospice and adult day health services, in addition to six years teaching experience of public health, geriatrics and community health in nursing schools and collegiate programs.
Positions:
2005-2013-Chief Executive Officer for Douglas County Visiting Nurses and Hospice, Inc.
Duties include responsibility for the overall general management and operation of agency programs which include Medicare certified home health and hospice as well as a Home Care Support Service program for long term care clients. The Private Duty licensed program was opened in 2009 and the Assisted Living Care Cottage was acquired in 2008. Annual revenues for all programs over $6 million.
2003-2005-Director of Business Development for Southview Homecare, Kansas City, Kansas
Duties include opening offices in new locations and hiring staff, developing relationships with area hospitals and physicians, establishing preferred provider agreements with retirement communities and facilities, developing presentations/programs for both professional and community relating to health and care issues; Representing Southview Homecare in recruitment process with variety of professional medical schools; Develop and coordinate health fairs & screenings with a focus on prevention. Special event planning and implementation.
